40 years in business
As we step into 2025, Valves Instruments Plus (VIP) proudly marks a momentous milestone—40 years in business.
From our humble beginnings in a small warehouse back in 1985 to now operating from a 20,000 sq. ft. head office near Manchester and a southern branch near Heathrow, our journey has been one of continuous growth, innovation, and excellence.
Initially, VIP established itself as a trusted merchant, supplying valves and instruments primarily to the steam sector. Over the years, we expanded our portfolio, partnering with leading manufacturers and adding new product ranges to serve a wider array of industries. A defining moment in our history came 15 years ago when we launched our very own VIP brand—a bold step that positioned us alongside top manufacturers in the industry. Since then, we have continued to enhance our product range, most recently incorporating BIM capabilities to support modern project needs.
Another key milestone was the acquisition of HEVAC Industrial, which enabled VIP to establish a second brand near London, who specialised in plumbing, tube, fittings, soil & waste. This expansion has been a significant asset, further diversifying our offerings and strengthening our presence in the market nationally.
As we celebrate this incredible 40-year journey, we remain committed to quality, assurance and customer service something we have always been renowned for in our 40 years in business.
