The CSA Argo 3F RFP Anti-Surge Combination Air Valve provides automatic air management with added surge protection for water distribution and treated water systems. Its triple-function design discharges air during pipeline filling, releases trapped air during normal operation and admits air during draining to help protect against negative pressure.
The RFP anti-surge mechanism automatically restricts air outflow when the differential pressure rises, slowing the approaching water column and helping to minimise the risk of water hammer. A glass-reinforced polypropylene body provides corrosion resistance, while access from the top allows maintenance without removing the valve from the pipe.
