Project Overview
Mitre Yard formed part of the major regeneration around Old Oak and Park Royal, delivering new homes along the Grand Union Canal in one of London’s most ambitious development zones. The scale and pace of the scheme demanded reliable supply of high-quality domestic plumbing systems to support modern, efficient residential services.
Our Approach
Working closely with our customer, we supported the residential installation programme with a comprehensive supply of copper press fittings, copper pipe and Instantor MLCP and fittings. With multiple plots progressing simultaneously, accurate product selection and dependable availability were key. Our team applied strong product knowledge to ensure compatibility across systems, advising on suitable jointing methods and material choices to meet performance and compliance requirements.
Clear communication and responsive service helped keep deliveries aligned with site schedules, reducing the risk of downtime. All products supplied met relevant industry standards, including WRAS approvals where required, giving both contractor and end client confidence in the long-term integrity of the installation.
Execution
VIP coordinated phased deliveries to suit the build programme, ensuring materials arrived when needed without overloading site storage. Copper press systems offered speed and consistency on installation, while the Instantor MLCP provided flexibility and efficiency across apartment layouts.
By maintaining close contact with site teams and merchants, we were able to respond quickly to adjustments in quantities or specifications. This practical, hands-on support helped maintain momentum on a busy, multi-block residential development in a fast-moving regeneration area.
