The CSA VRCD Flanged PN16 Direct Acting Pressure Reducing Valve reduces and stabilises downstream water pressure to an adjustable set point. Its pressure-balanced design responds to changes in inlet pressure and flow demand, maintaining pressure control even when downstream consumption stops.
Featuring a ductile iron body and cap with a blue epoxy coating, the VRCD is suitable for water distribution, building services, irrigation, cooling and fire protection systems. Its self-cleaning piston helps reduce maintenance requirements, while a large expansion chamber helps minimise noise and improve resistance to cavitation.
