Load-Bearing Guidance
Double Hinged Pipe Clips are tested for use with plumbing, gas, and air-conditioning pipes. However, they are not intended for load-bearing applications. A series of clips spaced at 500 mm intervals will support the natural weight of copper or plastic pipework safely. For safety reasons, do not attach or hang additional loads on the pipework, as this may cause clips to fail.
