The VIP 316 stainless steel wafer swing check valve is designed to provide reliable backflow prevention in a compact and lightweight form, making it ideal for installation in space-restricted pipeline systems. Manufactured entirely from AISI 316 stainless steel, the valve offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability, making it suitable for demanding industrial and marine environments.

The wafer-style body is designed to fit between PN16 flanges, providing straightforward installation while minimising overall system footprint and weight. The swing check mechanism allows smooth flow in the forward direction while automatically preventing reverse flow, helping to protect pumps, pipework, and associated equipment from damage caused by backflow.

Fitted with an EPDM ‘O’ ring, the valve provides dependable sealing performance for use with water, warm water, and sea water applications. The standard EPDM configuration is suitable for operating temperatures from -15°C to 110°C, while optional Viton seats are available for higher temperature applications up to +180°C.
