The VIP cast iron flanged PN16 Y-strainer is designed to efficiently remove debris, contaminants, and solid particles from pipeline systems, helping to prevent blockages and maintain consistent system performance. Manufactured from robust cast iron and supplied in a flanged PN16 configuration, this Y-pattern strainer offers a durable and reliable solution for a wide range of general water applications. The unit is fitted with a stainless steel 20s mesh screen (wire mesh/perforated sheet), providing effective removal of fine particles while ensuring efficient flow. A blow-off drain is fitted, allowing for quick and convenient cleaning and flushing of collected debris, with the option to fit a drain-off ball valve for easier maintenance without system disruption.

Suitable for use with water, warm water, and air, the strainer is designed to operate at pressures up to PN16 (16 bar), with a hydraulic shell test pressure of 24 bar.
