The VIP DZR drop tight pressure reducing valve with compression ends is designed to safely reduce and regulate high incoming water pressure to a stable and controlled outlet pressure in domestic hot and cold water systems. Manufactured from durable DZR brass, the valve offers excellent resistance to corrosion and long-term reliability in potable water applications. The drop tight valve design provides accurate pressure control under both flow and no-flow conditions, ensuring dependable system performance and preventing pressure creep.
The valve features an adjustable outlet pressure range from 1.0 to 6.0 bar, with a factory preset of 3.0 bar, allowing flexibility across a wide range of installation requirements. An integrated fully serviceable strainer helps protect the valve seat from debris and contamination, while the included pressure gauge and gauge port plug allow for convenient monitoring and adjustment of system pressure.
Designed for use with hot and cold water systems up to 80°C, the valve is WRAS approved and suitable for installation in any orientation, providing added flexibility during installation. Compression end connections allow straightforward connection to copper pipe systems.
