CSA FOX 3F-HR Combination anti-slam air valve for high-rise buildings and pumping stations
CSA
CSA is an Italian valve manufacturer specialising in pressure control, air management and surge protection for water systems. Established in 1987, the company produces a range of air valves, pressure reducing valves, relief valves and level control valves for water distribution, irrigation and industrial applications. Combining Italian manufacturing with specialist engineering expertise, CSA develops solutions to regulate flow and pressure, manage trapped air and help protect pipelines and equipment from water hammer.
Key Information
The CSA FOX 3F-HR Combination Anti-Slam Air Valve provides automatic air management for high-rise buildings, pipeline risers and treated water pumping stations. Its triple-function design controls air discharge during filling, releases trapped air during normal operation and admits large volumes of air during draining or pipe bursts to help protect against negative pressure.
The anti-slam system regulates air outflow to slow the approaching water column, helping to minimise water hammer and pressure surges. A ductile iron body with an epoxy coating provides robust construction, while a threaded outlet elbow directs water spurts away from the valve.
