The BSP Filter Pot micro is a compact, high-performance side stream filtration and dosing unit designed to improve the efficiency, cleanliness and long-term reliability of closed heating and cooling systems. Engineered for systems ranging from 1,000 to 20,000 litres, the unit combines magnetic filtration, ultra-fine particulate removal, passive deaeration and chemical dosing in one robust stainless steel assembly.
Designed in accordance with BSRIA BG29 and BG50 guidance, the Filter Pot micro helps protect boilers, chillers, pumps and associated components from magnetite, dirt, biofouling and air-related issues. Its advanced multi-stage filtration system removes both magnetic and non-magnetic debris down to 0.5 micron, improving system performance, reducing maintenance requirements and helping to increase overall energy efficiency.
Manufactured from polished 304 stainless steel with fully removable neodymium magnet bars encased in 316 stainless steel, the Filter Pot micro is built for durability, ease of servicing and long operational life. The integrated 2.1 litre dosing pot allows fast and safe introduction of water treatment chemicals without shutting down the system, while the automatic air vent continuously removes entrained air and microbubbles from circulation.
The BSP Anti-Microbial Cartridge Filters are impregnated with silver ions to inhibit bacterial growth within the system and are available in 20, 5 and 0.5 micron ratings to suit varying system conditions. The unique design ensures uninterrupted system performance, even if servicing intervals are exceeded.
Ideal for LTHW heating and cooling applications, the Filter Pot micro is simple to install, easy to maintain and supplied complete with flexible hose connections, insulation jacket and wall mounting arrangement.

The Polypropylene filtration media is impregnated with Silver Ions which block the bacterial respiratory system of bacteria thereby destroying the energy production of the cell, leading to the bursting of the cell membrane and neutralising of the bacteria. Max working temperature is 90°C. |
