The BSP BG29 Compliant Filter Monitor is a dedicated differential pressure monitoring system designed to work alongside BSP Filter Pot side stream filtration units, ensuring compliance with BSRIA BG29 guidance for closed heating and cooling systems. The monitor continuously measures the differential pressure across the filter, providing clear indication of cartridge filter condition and system performance.

Designed as a fully self-contained and factory-tested package, the BG29 Compliant Filter Monitor incorporates a pre-programmed controller, dual pressure sensors, integrated alarm functions and BMS connectivity for simple installation and operation. When a blocked or heavily contaminated cartridge filter is detected, the unit activates an audible alarm and flashing visual warning, while also offering a volt-free BMS alarm signal for remote monitoring and notification.

Suitable for heating and cooling systems operating between -40°C and 100°C, the monitor is manufactured using high-quality industrial components including ANSI 316L stainless steel pressure sensors and an IP54 rated controller housing. The live differential pressure readings are displayed on the integrated blue dot matrix screen, allowing quick and accurate system monitoring.

Application

The BG29 Compliant Filter Monitor:

• is a self-contained packaged unit, factory tested and wall mounted unit incorporating a Pre-Programmed Controller with BMS Connection, 2x Pre-Wired Pressure Sensors and Mains Cable.
• has been designed to be used on Heating and Cooling Systems from -40°C to 100°C.
• has been designed to work in conjunction with the Filter Pot Side Stream Filtration and Dosing Unit to ensure BSRIA Guidance is adhered to.
• detects a blocked Cartridge Filter within the Filter Pot Side Stream Filtration and Dosing Unit. Once detected, the BG29 Compliant Filter Monitor Will larm with a built-in sounder, flashing light and if required can simply be connected to a local BMS system for ease of use and notification.
