The VIP epoxy coated cast iron Y-pattern strainer, is designed to efficiently remove debris, solids, and other contaminants from pipeline systems, helping to maintain system performance and prevent damage to downstream equipment. By filtering out foreign matter, these strainers play a critical role in protecting pumps, valves, meters, and other sensitive components, reducing maintenance requirements and avoiding costly downtime.

Manufactured from durable cast iron and finished with a high-quality epoxy coating, the strainer offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. The Y-pattern body design ensures effective filtration while maintaining good flow characteristics and minimising pressure loss.

The strainer is fitted with a stainless steel screen with a 20s mesh, providing effective removal of fine particles while maintaining efficient flow through the system. Suitable for use with water, warm water, sea water, and air, the strainer is designed for reliable operation across a broad temperature range (0°C – 80°C). For ease of maintenance, the unit features a blow-off drain, allowing for straightforward cleaning and flushing of collected debris. A drain-off ball valve can also be fitted on request, providing additional convenience for system maintenance without the need for full disassembly.

Rated to PN16 with a hydraulic shell test pressure of 24 bar, this strainer provides a robust and dependable solution for protecting pipeline systems.
