Key Information

The VIP wafer semi-lugged butterfly valve is designed for reliable isolation and flow control in a wide range of pipeline systems. Manufactured from high-strength ductile iron, the valve offers a durable and cost-effective solution for general water and industrial applications, with a compact wafer pattern body suited to installations where space is limited.

Engineered for versatility, the valve is compatible with PN6, PN10, PN16, and ASA150 flange standards, allowing for straightforward integration into a variety of piping systems. The PTFE-lined EPDM seat provides enhanced sealing performance, reduced operating torque, and improved chemical resistance, while the 316 stainless steel disc delivers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life.

Rated to PN16 (16 bar), the valve operates across a wide temperature range of -35°C to +150°C, making it suitable for both low and elevated temperature applications. The replaceable rubber liner design allows for easier maintenance and extended operational lifespan.

The valve is actuator-ready, featuring a top mounting flange in accordance with ISO 5211-1 for easy automation. The valve complies with recognised industry standards including EN593, API 609, BS5155, ISO 5211, and MSS SP-67, ensuring quality, reliability, and interchangeability.

Its compact design, broad flange compatibility, and robust construction make this wafer butterfly valve a practical and dependable choice for modern pipeline systems.

Gearbox

Lever operation is standard up to DN150, with gearbox operation supplied from DN200 onwards for ease of operation on larger sizes. For sizes outside this range, please contact us at sales@vip-ltd.co.uk or call 01942 885700.
